UIC Homecoming Dance 2023

We are excited to have you join us for UIC's 2023 Homecoming Dance - A Night In Wonderland!

Dance Location: Chicago History Museum (1601 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60614)

Time: 7pm-11pm CST - *Doors close at 9pm CST*

Things to note:

• Bring your UIC IDs for check-in. Guests should bring a valid state ID.
• Bags or purses larger than a fanny pack are prohibited.
• No outside food or drinks.
• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• NO RE-ENTRY. - You must have your wristband visible at all times.
• This event is substance and alcohol free. Any alcohol that is brought in will be confiscated and not returned.
• Check-in will be available at two separate locations: Student Center East Concourse - 1st floor of building (6-8pm) AND at the Chicago History Museum (7-9pm).
• Free parking is not available at the Chicago History Museum. We encourage all attendees to ride in the complimentary shuttles provided by UIC.
• Light refreshments will be provided.
• We will offer a FREE coat-check. The Center for Student Involvement and the Chicago History Museum are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
• Tickets will only be able to be used once. If a ticket has already been scanned, we will have to deny entry to the event.
• All non-ticketed permanent exhibits will be open on the second floor. No food or drink is allowed in the exhibits.
• Share the fun you’re having at the Homecoming Dance by using #UICHOCO when posting on social media.

Information on shuttles:

The shuttles go in a loop from Student Center East to the front entrance of the Chicago History Museum starting at 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Check-in for shuttles starts at 6:00pm in the SCE Concourse. You must check in at the Student Center East Concourse in order to get on the shuttle. You will need a special pass for the shuttle. If you have a guest who was able to purchase a ticket they can ride the shuttle with you.

Shuttles will start taking people back to UIC from 9:30pm to 11:30pm. Shuttles will drop students off at the Courtyard Residence Hall (700 E. Halsted St). We recommend getting on the shuttle back to UIC early to avoid the long lines at the end of the dance.

Final thoughts:

This is a university event and students and their guests are expected to adhere to UIC's Student Code of Conduct Policy on and off campus. UIC staff reserves the right to refuse entry or ask a student/guest to leave the event without a refund.
