Women in engineering sp tier 3

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the UIC College of Engineering Women in Engineering Summer Program (WIESP) sponsored by Knowles Corporation and Motorola Solutions. WIESP, managed by the office of Women in Engineering Programs, is a FREE, non-residential program, that offers an unparalleled opportunity to learn about engineering through hands-on projects and corporate partner visits. Prior experience is NOT required and participants will receive a financial stipend upon successful completion of the program!

Program Content

This summer is the 10-year anniversary of Women in Engineering Summer Program!🎉 To celebrate this incredible milestone we’re doing something extra special: instead of focusing on just two engineering fields like we do every summer, we are going to explore ALL six departments within the College of Engineering! Over the course of three weeks, you’ll dive into Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil, Materials, & Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, and Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, with each department offering its own exciting projects and challenges!
