BIG Weekend - stARTups!

Join us for our BIG Weekend focused on startups in the arts to explore ideas for and develop your own stARTup!

Beginning at 5:00p.m. - 10:00p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 and continuing from 9:00a.m.-7:00p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016.

Starting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, you will work on your idea for a startup arts-related business. You will work from Friday night through Saturday night (this is not an overnight event). The BIG Weekend concludes with a startup showcase on Saturday night.

BIG Weekends are intense, fun, hands-on introductions to entrepreneurship. You will meet others – students, faculty, staff, and alumni – interested in startups and solving interesting challenges through new business ventures.

You can participate fully with just over 24 hours of commitment, packed into a vibrant weekend beginning Friday evening and wrapping up late Saturday evening. (We’ll provide food, motivation, and a dynamic environment.)

If you’re ready to explore entrepreneurship, try a BIG Weekend! Come whether or not you have a business idea. Come ready to lead or join a team. Mentors and coaches who have started successful businesses will help you develop and present your startup venture.
