Registration Permission Request - Honors Core Class (non-first year students) 

Honors College students beyond the first year (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) may request permission to register for an Honors Core Course that would otherwise be restricted to first-year students. 

 

Complete this form to request permission. Because we have limited availability for non-first year students, we strongly advise you to register for another class that fulfills your needs while awaiting permission (e.g., an HON 201 seminar &/or a Gen Ed class outside of the Honors College).

 

• You will be contacted after the semester ends via email if a seat becomes available in the course you requested. Requests and availability will be reviewed mid-month thereafter; we will contact you if and when we are able to open additional seats to non-first year students.
• We will prioritize requests by the order in which they are received. If you have ranked multiple course options, please specify in the notes field which is your first or second choice. Otherwise, we will always attempt to place you in the course most recently requested.
• This is not a wait list for closed courses.
