*Please read the following information before registering for a session. During this session, students will learn about the LARES services available for their transition to the university and academic success. Students will also prepare for their orientation program and next steps of enrollment at UIC. The topics discussed during the session include - an overview of the UIC student portal, - understanding the degree audit, - navigating the course registration tool, - preparing for academic advising, - reviewing financial aid and payment options, and - discussing tips for making the most out of the orientation experience and first semester at UIC! This session is intended for newly admitted Spring 2025 students. The LARES Spring into Orientation Session does not replace the UIC Orientation program. All new students (first-year and transfer) are required to complete the UIC Orientation. Visit orientation.uic.edu for more information. Registration for spring 2025 orientation programs is now open.
