The Institute aims to:
* Equip students to enact change at their institutions and in their
communities
* Build capacity in organizational strategies, campaign development,
community mobilization, messaging, and alliance building.
* Expand knowledge and fluency in social justice and decolonization
frameworks and Arab American organizing.
* Create a space for peer learning and building connections with
community organizations and activists.
Institute is open to students from across Chicago campuses. It will be held at the UIC Arab American Cultural Center on May 9, 10, and 11, 2023 from 10:30 to 4pm. Food will be provided as well as parking stickers.
