Taking place the first Monday of each month, this regular service opportunity allows students to give back while they are on campus.
This month, we are partnering with Orchard Village, an agency that empowers people with developmental disabilities through vocational, educational, recreational, and residential programs to live their best lives. Volunteers will be putting together personal hygiene kits for adult men and adult women living in community integrated homes.
The program will take place in the Commuter Student Resource Center (located on the 2nd floor of Student Center East), and while registration in advance is preferred to allow for a quicker check-in process, drop ins are also welcome. You can join us anytime between 11am and 1pm, for the full two hours or for a shorter length of time if that's what works for you. Please note, this project will continue as long as supplies last, so joining earlier is often better. Make your Mondays matter!
