On November 8th, We are having a tabling event at Student Center East from 9:00 to 11:30 AM with some international candy and information about study abroad opportunities and the FirstGen Flames Abroad scholarship. After, we plan to host an information session from noon to 1:00 PM both in person in the Study Abroad Office and via zoom to further discuss study abroad opportunities

National First-Generation College Celebration Day on November 8!

We are celebrating UIC’s first-generation college students and announcing the launch of the second round of the Chancellor’s FirstGen Flames Abroad Scholarship. The Chancellor’s FirstGen Flames Abroad Scholarship was designed to support first-generation, first year and new transfer undergraduate students in studying abroad. We were thrilled to induct the first cohort of FirstGen Flames Abroad scholars earlier this year.

We are having a tabling event at Student Center East from 9:00AM to 11:30 AM with some international candy and information about study abroad opportunities and the FirstGen Flames Abroad scholarship.
